It is shown that a coating of this type with a thickness of 1...2 mm makes it possible to lower by 10...30 dB the first (from large angles) maximum on the angular dependence of backscattering at ultrahigh frequencies in a band of the order of an octave.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Представлены результаты численного расчета обратного рассеяния при больших углах падения плоских волн TM-поляризации на протяженную металлическую поверхность конечных размеров с радиопоглощающим покрытием на основе структуры искусственного магнитного проводника. Показано, что покрытие такого типа толщиной 1…2 мм позволяет понизить на 10…30 дБ первый (со стороны больших углов) максимум на угловой зависимости обратного рассеяния на сверхвысоких частотах в полосе порядка октавы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>artificial magnetic conductor</kwd><kwd>ultrahigh frequencies</kwd><kwd>backscattering</kwd><kwd>angular dependence</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>искусственный магнитный проводник</kwd><kwd>сверхвысокие частоты</kwd><kwd>обратное рассеяние</kwd><kwd>угловая зависимость</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Правительство Российской Федерации</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Government of the Russian Federation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Knott E.F.
