Based on the analysis, an assumption was made that allows us to explain the duration of the period of consolidation and reconsolidation of long-term memory (4–6 hours) by the need for the contribution of glia to the local epigenetic regulation of plasticity gene expression in the neurons of the memory engram.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В настоящем обзоре на основе собственных и литературных данных анализируется временное течение формирования долговременной памяти, длительность процессов консолидации и реконсолидации, временные параметры взаимодействия глиальных и нейрональных элементов нервной сети, возможные механизмы нейро-глиальных взаимодействий. На основе проведенного анализа выдвигается предположение, позволяющее объяснить длительность периода консолидации и реконсолидации долговременной памяти (4—6 часов) необходимостью вклада глиального окружения в локальные эпигенетические изменения экспрессии генов пластичности в нейронах энграммы памяти.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>memory</kwd><kwd>synaptic plasticity</kwd><kwd>gene expression</kwd><kwd>epigenetics</kwd><kwd>glia</kwd><kwd>astrocyte</kwd><kwd>microRNA</kwd><kwd>extracellular vesicles</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>память</kwd><kwd>синаптическая пластичность</kwd><kwd>экспрессия генов</kwd><kwd>эпигенетика</kwd><kwd>глия</kwd><kwd>астроцит</kwd><kwd>микроРНК</kwd><kwd>внеклеточные везикулы</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский научный фонд</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Science Foundation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>24-15-00149</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Adamsky A., Kol A., Kreisel T., et al.
