In the experiment conducted in three-stimulus «oddball» paradigm we showed that in case of overt attention P300 resembles P3b – it has a longer peak latency and temporo-parietal source localization (lingual and cingulate gyrus, precuneus). Alternatively, in case of covert attention it has frontal localization and a longer peak latency that is similar to P3a and nP3 subcomponents. Our data clarifies the association between P300 and visual spatial attention and may be useful for optimization of P300-based brain-computer interfaces.</p>
Полученные данные могут быть использованы для расширения представлений о связи волны P300 и системы зрительного внимания, а также при разработке нейроинтерфейсных систем, использующих различные формы пространственного зрительного внимания.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>P300 wave</kwd><kwd>subcomponents of P300, P3a and P3b</kwd><kwd>P300-BCI</kwd><kwd>visual spatial attention</kwd><kwd>overt and covert attention</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>волна P300</kwd><kwd>субкомпоненты P300, P3a, P3b, nP3</kwd><kwd>ИМК-P300</kwd><kwd>пространственное зрительное внимание</kwd><kwd>открытое и скрытое внимание</kwd><kwd>явное и скрытое внимание</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Правительство РФ</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">The Russian Government</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>12586п-П8</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Ганин И.П., Каплан А.Я.
