Aim - to describe the case of erroneous establishment of Crohn's disease in a patient with intestinal tuberculosis by the results of pathomorphological examination of biopsy specimens of the colon. The absence of anti-tuberculosis therapy led to the progression of the tuberculosis process with the development of tuberculosis of the larynx, lungs and ileum, followed by disability of the patient. Conclusions. The given observation shows the necessity of introduction in the practice of clinical morphologist the morphometric methods of study of endoscopic biopsy specimens, allowing to differentiate between intestinal tuberculosis and Crohn's disease.</p>
Приведенное наблюдение показывает необходимость внедрения в практическую работу клинических морфологов морфометрических методов оценки эндоскопических биоптатов, позволяющих надежно дифференцировать кишечный туберкулез и болезнь Крона.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>intestinal tuberculosis</kwd><kwd>Crohn disease</kwd><kwd>endoscopic biopsies</kwd><kwd>differential diagnosis</kwd><kwd>morphometry</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>кишечный туберкулез</kwd><kwd>болезнь Крона</kwd><kwd>эндоскопические биопсии</kwd><kwd>дифференциальный диагноз</kwd><kwd>морфометрия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Du J, Ma Y-Y, Xiang H, Li Y-M.
