The scientific literature for analysis was found in the following databases: RSCI, PubMed, Web of Science. The mostly discussed topics are features of the anatomy and anomalies of the pectoralis major muscles, variants of pectoralis major flaps, the main nosologies requiring pectoralis major muscle plasty, complications after using the pectoralis major flaps.</p>
Определены наиболее актуальные вопросы по данной проблеме, а именно: особенности анатомии и аномалии больших грудных мышц; варианты лоскутов большой грудной мышцы; основные нозологии, при которых используется пластика большой грудной мышцей; осложнения применения лоскутов большой грудной мышцы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pectoralis major muscle</kwd><kwd>muscle flap</kwd><kwd>muscle plasty</kwd><kwd>chest wall defect</kwd><kwd>sternum osteomyelitis</kwd><kwd>rib osteomyelitis</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>большая грудная мышца</kwd><kwd>мышечный лоскут</kwd><kwd>мышечная пластика</kwd><kwd>дефект грудной стенки</kwd><kwd>остеомиелит грудины</kwd><kwd>остео-миелит ребер</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Marx RE, Smith BR.
