Abstract

Aim - to determine the features of arthropathy formation in patients with ischemic stroke.

Material and methods. 98 stroke patients were examined

Results. Hemiparesis was detected in 86 (88%) stroke patients, and arthropathy of the upper limb was 36 (37%).

Conclusion. Ultrasound examination of the joint is necessary to prevent contracture.

The clinical concept of arthropathy includes the presence of pain and movement restriction. Post-stroke arthropathy leads to the formation of contracture [1, 2] .A clinical study of the neurosomatic status of 98 stroke patients was conducted. Dynamic follow-up was performed after 6 monthsIn dynamics, the level of arthropathy among group 1A patients was only 8 (16%), and among group 1B patients it was already 20 (44%, p < 0.05), and contracture of the upper limb was formed in half of the patients.
